Lobbying

Political lobbying is simply about communicating with government and trying to influence public policy. Whether it’s a ban on displaying tobacco products, the HPV vaccination, driving test requirements, the age at which you can buy alcohol or local hospital closures, government policy affects almost every aspect of our daily lives.

By studying Political Lobbying with us, you will learn how to develop communication strategies that will persuade government decision-makers to hear and understand your perspective or point of view. You will learn about the institutions of government and how to navigate your way around them. Essentially, you will learn how to develop and manage relationships with governmental stakeholders in order to successfully influence public policy.
