Colin Knox is Professor of Comparative Public Policy at the University of Ulster. His research interests are devolution in Northern Ireland and comparative public sector reform. In terms of the former, his latest book is entitled Devolution and the Governance of Northern Ireland (Manchester University Press). On the latter, he has been involved in research and consultancy on public sector reforms in developing countries such as China, Russia, Bangladesh, Poland, Georgia and, most recently, Kazakhstan. He teaches: public administration and governance; applied government; policy evaluation; and research methods on the Masters in Public Administration Programme (MPA) at the University of Ulster. Knox is an Academician of the Academy of Social Sciences (AcSS) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
