Restorative Practices: Philosophy and Application
Restorative processes offer the possibility of solutions to some of the most prevalent problems facing individuals and communities in modern society.
Wherever there is hurt, offense or conflict restorative practices enable people to repair the harm and resolve their differences. The approach can be applied to:
• Children and Families;
• Local communities;
• The criminal justice system;
• Peace building.
Currently the Adult Access and Masters Level Courses are housed within the School of Sociology and Applied Social Studies with the School of Education. Both Schools are within the Faculty of Social Sciences.
